Dear Chamber Members.
We would like to welcome our new members Steyn Steel, Nel.Havinga and Corbet Accountants, who received their new member certificates at the business function this month. We had our February business function on the 12 February 2004 at Purple Olive with Sheldon and Prinsloo. Andre Prinsloo from Sheldon and Prinsloo gave interesting facts and information regarding your financial statements. He explained why it is so important for any business to get their financial statements prepared by a recognized accountant.
The Chamber Exco had their monthly meeting on the 3rd February 2014 at the Harcourts offices. Crime was discussed and it is still a major problem in the community. All are advised to be extra cautious.
A business function at the air force base is on the agenda with a private show with the Grippons and a social braai with the General. We are waiting for the air force base to give us a final date in May and further details. Meanwhile all members that want to attend the function have to email Elsabe their ID numbers before the end of February for a clearance check to attend the function.
Look out for our March business function on the 14 March 2014 with Marcell Lombart regarding the training of personnel to improve service and business. Further details will be emailed to all members.
We invite all our members to visit the website for more information and chamber matters.
Our next Exco meeting – 3 March 2014 at the Harcourts Office 18h00. All are welcome to attend the meeting.
